As a registered charity we have to raise all our own funds, through collections, sponsored events, trust fund applications and begging letters to foundations. We have recently developed a number of fundraising appeals but to obtain regular income from sponsorship is a real help to our finances.

Ink Save
Ink Save has been amazingly supportive of our efforts to raise funds. Liz (another Liz and their co-ordinator) was delighted to be asked to help us.

Ink Save is a small company that recycles and refills ink cartridges to save them from land fill and help users save costs.

They company are going to supply us with FREEPOST envelopes and then forward us with a cheque whenever we reach a total of £15.00 or more at regular intervals. Every penny can count with this one and of course is on going as you use more printer cartridges.

They can recycle a number of different brands and they can either be brand new and empty or already recycled and empty!

For every cartridge you sent to us we can earn 20p and £2.00. As you can imagine this can soon add up so please keep those ink cartridges coming into us.

Reclaim-IT Toner Cartridge Recycling
Do you have a laser printer instead of a inkjet printer? We can accept the cartridges from these as well now thanks to a partnership with Reclaim-IT! We shall have collection boxes at Crofton Manor Equestrian Centre and various adult education centre's around West Sussex.

By doing your bit to help us you will also be helping the environment by recycling and not adding to landfill sites. Each cartridge we recycle is either refilled or recycled into other things, amongst them is even plastic fencing!

Reclaim will send a courier to us whenever our collection bin is full and then process them for us. Once we reach a set amount they will then send us a cheque to add to our funds!

As you can imagine recycling your used cartridges like this will be a huge help to us, it costs you nothing and can become a regular income for us.

SHP for Charity Mobile Phone Appeal
Richard Bowden from SHP For Charity has generously set us up a recycling account for mobile phones and is even going to feature us on their home page of their own website!

I am sure we all know someone that has to have the latest toy or has a collection of old or broken mobile phones. We can now benefit from these by recycling them and receiving a cheque that we can use directly towards our ever increasing running costs.



We shall be having a collection box at Crofton Manor Equestrian Centre, but you can also collect them independently and we can either pick them up or have a courier pick them up free of charge! SHP for Charity will them check them and send us a break down of the phones together with a lovely cheque for our efforts.

One of our biggest problems is knowing where our money is coming from on a regular basis. Every year we have to find £12,000 to keep going and every penny counts.

Could you help make a riders dreams come true and sponsor them?
We currently have a number of riders that are looking for sponsorship. They vary in ability from complete beginners to those that have done National Team trials!

Each rider would like your help in any way you can, from small regular payments to help with lessons to a annual sponsors support package for those that are competing!

You could help us help ourselves with gift aid?
The Gift Aid Scheme enables us to claim back the tax you have paid! This will benefit us by another 28p for every £1 you donate to us. Please either download our gift aid form here or ask Liz Graney for a copy. All forms then need to be returned to our treasurer for filing. Every penny helps and this can really add up over the period of a year, so at no cost to you please fill in one of these forms. Thank you.
